There comes a day when we all find out for ourselves
That once we have the words to say, there's no one left to tell
I know why you're running away.
There's a place where nothing seems to be a simple night of easy love
It's all your mind, all your mind
Something little shouldn't feel this way,
We got a million thoughts we can't complain
It's all your love, all your love!
It's four in the morning, you got one more chance to die
Like beautiful stories the greatest chapters flew right by
There comes a day when we all find out for ourselves
That once we have the words to say, there's no one left to tell
I know why you're running away.
These things don't happen here another fictional reality
It's all your mind; all your mind!
It's just as good as any other day, I'm gonna teach you about mortality
Now it's not right, it's not right!
It's four in the morning, you got one more chance to die
Like beautiful stories the greatest chapters flew right by
There comes a day when we all find out for ourselves
That once we have the words to say, there's no one left to tell
I know why you're running away.
In many ways i guess i'll never let you go
I'm close behind but i'm a lot more roomier than most
I took my second chance, just enjoy the dance, and found out who we are
Let's find out what we are, never leave asking why.
It's four in the morning, you got one more chance to die
Like beautiful stories the greatest chapters flew right by
There comes a day when we all find out for ourselves
That once we have the words to say, there's no one left to tell
I know why you're running away, I know why you're running away!

All the suffering
When we're alone
Tentacle enough for me
And burn inside in agony
What power will enable me
To carry my mission
A hunger comming over me
As I learn to hide the agony
To make a final remedy
To close the door once and for all
In a world that I dont want to know
With a message that I never want to send
To be free from all of this
I want you to quicken my end
Don't tell me I can not go
When the wound in me refuses to mend
Deliver me from all of this
I want you to quicken my end
(it seems the whole experience is)
Devil and crippling
The pain is much more then
Physical beyond belief
When we're alone
Tentacle enough for me
And I moan inside in agony
What power will enable me
To make this decision
Despair is hauling over me
No way to hide the agony
Inbracing my calamity
To save myself once and for all

You walk on like a woman in suffering
Won't even bother now to tell me why
You come alone, letting all of us savor the moment
Leaving me broken another time
You come on like a bloodstained hurricane
Leave me alone, let me be this time
You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption
I don't want to mention, the reason I know
That I am stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run
You don't know what your power has done to me
I want to know if I'll heal inside
I can't go on with a holocaust about to happen
Seeing you laughing another time
You'll never know how your face has haunted me
My very soul has to bleed this time
Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses
Leaving me breathless, the reason I know
That I am stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done

Avenged Seven Fold (A7X)

Avenged Sevenfold is an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band consists of vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance and bassist Johnny Christ.
Avenged Sevenfold emerged with a metalcore sound on their debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, which included primarily screamed vocals. The band changed their style on their third album and first major label release, City of Evil, which features more melodic vocals and power ballads. The band continued to explore new sounds with their self titled release and enjoyed continued mainstream success before their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, died of heart disease and combined effect of drugs and alcohol in his body in 2009. Despite his death, the band continued on with help of then Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and released their fifth album Nightmare in 2010 which debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200, a first for the band.
To date, Avenged Sevenfold has released five studio albums, one live album/compilation/DVD, and fifteen singles. The band themselves have received much credit for their worldwide mainstream success and were most notably proclaimed as one of the leaders and key bands in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal and were featured as second place on Ultimate Guitar's Top Ten Bands of the Decade.
Band history
Inception (1999—2004)
The band was formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California with original members M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev and Matt Wendt. M Shadows came up with the name as a reference to the story of Cain and Abel from The Bible, which can be found in Genesis 4:24, although they are not a religious band.[1] Upon its formation, each member of the band also took on a pseudonym which were already nicknames of theirs from high school. Before release their debut album, the band recorded two demos in 1999 and 2000. Avenged Sevenfold's debut album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, was recorded when the band members were just eighteen years old and in high school. It was originally released on their first label, Good Life Recordings in 2001. After lead guitarist Synyster Gates joined the band, at the end of 1999 when he was 18 at the introductory track "To End the Rapture" was re-recorded featuring a full band element. The album was subsequently re-released on Hopeless Records in 2002.
The band started to receive recognition, performing with bands such as Mushroomhead and Shadows Fall and playing on the Take Action Tour. Having settled on their fourth bassist, Johnny Christ, they released Waking the Fallen on Hopeless Records in August 2003. The album featured a more refined and mature sound production in comparison to their previous album. The band received profiles in Billboard and The Boston Globe, and played in the Vans Warped Tour. In 2004, Avenged Sevenfold toured again on the Vans Warped Tour and recorded a video for their song "Unholy Confessions" which went into rotation on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball. Shortly after the release of Waking the Fallen, Avenged Sevenfold left Hopeless Records and were signed to Warner Bros. Records.
City of Evil (2005—2007)
City of Evil, the band's third album and major label debut, was released on June 7, 2005 and debuted at #30 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 30,000 copies in its first week of release. It utilized a more classic metal sound than Avenged Sevenfold's previous albums, which had been grouped into the metalcore genre. The album is also notable for the absence of screamed and growled vocals; M. Shadows worked with vocal coach Ron Anderson—whose clients have included Axl Rose and Chris Cornell—for months before the album's release to achieve a sound that had "grit while still having the tone". The album received steller reviews from several magazines and websites and is credited for propelling the band into international popularity.
After playing Ozzfest in 2006, Avenged Sevenfold memorably beat out R&B Singers Rihanna and Chris Brown, Panic! at the Disco, Angels and Airwaves and James Blunt for the title of Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards, thanks in part to their Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-inspired song “Bat Country.”
They returned to the Vans Warped Tour, this time headlining and then continued on their own "Cities of Evil Tour." In addition, their lead single "Bat Country" reached #2 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Charts, #6 on Billboard's Modern Rock Charts and the accompanying video made it to #1 on MTV's Total Request Live. Propelled by this success, the album sold well and became Avenged Sevenfold's first gold record. It was later certified platinum in August 2009.
Self-titled album (2007—2009)
Avenged Sevenfold's mainstream success got them an invitation to 2006's Ozzfest tour on the main stage, alongside other well known hard rock and heavy metal acts DragonForce, Lacuna Coil, Hatebreed, Disturbed and System of a Down. That same year they also completed a worldwide tour, including the US, The United Kingdom (as well as mainland Europe), Japan, Australia and New Zealand. After being on tour for sixteen months in promotion of City of Evil, the band announced that they were cancelling their Fall 2006 tour in favor of recording new music. M. Shadows stated that their fourth studio album—which the band self-titled and self-produced—would not be a "City of Evil Part 2" or "Waking the Fallen Part 2," but would incorporate a new, grittier sound. To tide the fans over in between albums, the band released their first DVD titled All Excess on July 17, 2007. All Excess, which debuted as the #1 DVD in the USA, included live performances and backstage footage that spanned the band's eight year career. Two tribute albums, Strung Out on Avenged Sevenfold: Bat Wings and Broken Strings and Strung Out on Avenged Sevenfold: The String Tribute were also released in October 2007.
Avenged Sevenfold, the band's fourth album, was released on October 30, 2007, debuting at #4 on the Billboard 200 with over 90,000 copies sold. Two singles, "Critical Acclaim" and "Almost Easy" were released prior to the album's debut. In December 2007, an animated video was made for "A Little Piece of Heaven." Due to the song's controversial subject matter, however, Warner Brothers only released it to registered MVI users over the internet. The third single, "Afterlife" and its video was released in January 2008. Their fourth single, "Dear God", was released on September 30, 2008. Although critical reception was generally mixed the self-titled album went on to sell over 500,000 copies and was awarded "Album of the Year" at the Kerrang! Awards.[23]
Avenged Sevenfold headlined the 2008 Taste of Chaos tour with Atreyu, Bullet for My Valentine, Blessthefall and Idiot Pilot. They used the footage from their last show in Long Beach for Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough, a two-disc B-sides CD and live DVD which was released on September 16, 2008. They also recorded numerous covers, including Pantera's "Walk", Iron Maiden's "Flash of the Blade" and Black Sabbath's "Paranoid". They will also be releasing a Guitar Tutorial DVD, which include the five tracks, Afterlife, Almost Easy, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot and Trashed And Scattered, breaking down the guitar solos and riffs in each song. During a sold-out festival performance in Leeds and Reading, the band were forced to shorten their Leeds performance and cancel their Reading performance due to a vocal strain sustained by M. Shadows. A few days later, the band was forced to announce the cancellation of the remaining September shows, with the tour set to resume again on October 15.
Nightmare (2009—present)
In January 2009, M. Shadows confirmed that the band is writing the follow-up to their self-titled fourth album within the upcoming months. They also announced that they will be playing at Rock on the Range, from May 16–17, 2009. On April 16, they performed a version of Guns N' Roses' "It's So Easy" onstage with Slash, at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. M. Shadows was featured on Slash's debut solo album Slash in the song "Nothing to Say".
M. Shadows and the rest of the band has expressed interest in making a follow-up to their self-titled record. They announced that they plan to start writing in June 2009 and recording in October 2009. M. Shadows also said in an interview with Loveline that the next record would be a more traditional heavy metal, more rock-oriented record, since the self-titled record was very experimental. He also said it would feature more progressive, longer songs and would be the "biggest Avenged Sevenfold record ever." Additionally, he said they were possibly thinking about a concept record.
On July 15, 2009, their website and MySpace profile were updated with a statement from M. Shadows implying that work on the next album has started, but they are still "throwing around ideas". The update was on the same day that Waking the Fallen went Gold.
In an interview, M. Shadows has revealed that after the band will complete their tour with a final performance at the Sonisphere Festival on August 2, they will get in the studio to write and record a new studio album, a follow-up to their self-titled album.
On November 5, 2009, Zacky Vengeance posted a message on the official website stating that they had returned from their tour and immediately started focusing on forming a production team in order to start recording the album. "We will continue finalizing our songs until we feel every note does both you as well as us justice. We are also in the final stages of solidifying our production team, studios and engineers so that the second the axe falls and the album is written we will spend day and night in the studio until it is complete. This album will definitely take you on a very dark journey..."
On December 24, 2009 it was announced that Avenged Sevenfold had come in second place on Ultimate Guitar's Top Ten Bands of the Decade, losing the top spot to Metallica.
The December 31, 2009 edition of Kerrang! magazine included an interview with M. Shadows, in which Shadows stated the following about the album; "It’s a dark record. The music is emotional. Our goal is to make every single part memorable, we want to evoke reactions live and at home. It’ll have big rock ballads, the big fun stuff, the piano, the choir, the orchestra and all the visual things you expect but with a different, moodier vibe. Lyrically, I’ve been inspired by everything from the ways kids are brought up nowadays, to schooling, the economy, religion, war and the behaviour of our government. It all plays into how kids are so emotionally detached from the real world right now."
On April 17, 2010, a short message from Zacky Vengeance was posted on the official Avenged Sevenfold Twitter: "Tracking is complete. There are no words that will ever describe the feeling of listening to this album while driving home alone at 4 am."
Avenged Sevenfold's brand new single, "Nightmare", was digitally released on May 18, 2010. The song comes off the band's fifth studio album, which is due out July 27, 2010. A preview for the song was released on May 6, 2010 on Amazon.com, but was removed soon after for unknown reasons.
On May 12, 2010, M. Shadows and Synyster Gates stopped by HardDrive (radio show) where they explained details on Nightmare prior to its release:
[...] The new album, Nightmare, is dedicated to The Rev memory and although it's not exactly a concept album, it does center around The Rev. The eeriest thing about it is there is a song on the album called "Fiction" (a nickname The Rev gave himself) which started out with the title "Death". And the song was the last song The Rev wrote for the album, and when he handed it in, he said, that’s it, that’s the last song for this record. And then 3 days later, he died
Mixing for the album had been completed in New York City and was released worldwide on July 27. It met with mixed to positive reviews from music critics but was overwhelmingly accepted by fans averaging a 9.1 score on Metacritic from the public.
The death of The Rev
Main article: The Rev
On December 28, 2009, drummer James "The Rev" Sullivan was found dead at his home at the age of 28. Autopsy results were inconclusive, but on June 9, 2010, the cause of death was revealed to have been an "acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Diazepam/Nordiazepam and ethanol". In a statement by the band, they expressed their grief over the passing of The Rev and asked that his family's privacy be respected:
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Shown on Avenged Sevenfold's official website was a message from Sullivan's family which expressed their gratitude to his fans for their support:
"We would like to thank all of Jimmy's fans for the heartfelt comments that have been posted — it is comforting to know that his genius and antics were appreciated and that he was loved so much. Our hearts are broken — he was much too young to fall. Óg agus saor go deo (forever young and free)"
In addition to comments made about the death of Sullivan, the band's manager Larry Jacobson expressed how Sullivan was a kind figure to all. Jacobson stated within the interview that;
He was expressive. He'd tell you how he felt about you — you didn't wonder because he'd put his arm around you", he said. "He knew how to tell his friends he loved them."
In addition to Jacobson, over 50 musical artists have commented upon the death of Sullivan.
The January 13, 2010 edition of Kerrang! featured an article about the death of The Rev, in which fans and stars paid tribute to him. Simultaneously, Zacky Vengeance expressed his own feelings about the passing, stating that "Jimmy will always be with me in everything I do. Except sitting at home being sad, so today I'm going to try to start living again. foREVer."
Aftermath
In a recent interview with M. Shadows about the death of The Rev, Shadows confirmed a July release for Avenged Sevenfold's fifth album. "I have so much to say but can't find the words so I will wait until time can allow me to find a way to express myself. As for the rest of us, it has become clear what we need to do. We had just finished writing a record with Jimmy. I can’t promise what the future holds because right now it’s too painful to think about, but we know we need to record and put out this record in honor of Jimmy, for Jimmy. He would call me every night to talk about songs and tell me 'this shit is gonna change the world.' I agreed with him, unfortunately I didn’t know it would be on these terms. Please be patient with us for we cannot imagine how hard this is gonna be to get through, we just know we have to do it for his legacy. After that, who knows?"
In a recent interview conducted by the Huntington Beach Independent newspaper, Jimmy Sullivan's parents, Babara and Joseph revealed the following information about Avenged Sevenfold's new album: “Most important to him, Jimmy had just finished writing songs for Avenged Sevenfold’s new album — he even called one his ‘masterpiece.’ When he wrote songs, he would record tracks of his singing, playing the piano and drumming — then, when he played them for me, he would sing the orchestra or guitar parts that would be added later. I am thankful that I got to tell him how much I liked and admired his music. Later, Barbara commented that, "Jimmy wrote some really good songs. I was so proud of him, and I know that even though it will be very hard for them, the band will do a great job getting them recorded soon. Needless to say, these ‘all Jimmy’ recordings are almost impossible for me to listen to yet, but what a blessing to have them.” They plan to dedicate their new album to The Rev.
On February 17, 2010, Avenged Sevenfold stated that they had entered the studio, along with now former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, to drum for the record, in place of the Rev. "I want our fans to know that with Jimmy in our hearts, our journey to record has officially began. Jimmy helped leave this world an amazing gift and now it's our job to make sure to deliver that gift to our fans. We asked Jimmy's all time favorite drummer Mike Portnoy to record on behalf of him. Mike said it would be an honor and without question that’s what Jim would have wanted. It's comforting to us that someone like Mike, who is undoubtedly revered as one of the best drummers in the world, held such respect and adoration for the Rev's abilities. Even though it will never be the same without our brother by our side, his essence lives in our hearts and through the music he helped create. He was a legend before any of the success or any of that bullshit and we are fucking excited to lay this down for our fans, and especially for Jimmy."
The band is preparing for touring behind the new album. M. Shadows has said, "We're not sure what's going to happen after this touring cycle. Our goal right now is to just get kids to hear the record, because we want them to remember the Rev." Avenged Sevenfold's final album featuring Sullivan's writing, Nightmare, will be released July 27 on Warner Bros. (Ex-Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy played the drum parts Sullivan had written on the album and will tour with the band.) Nightmare beat sales projections easily, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 with sales of 163,000 units in its first week.
Characteristics
Genre
Avenged Sevenfold's material spans multiple genres and has evolved over the band's ten year career. Initially, the band's debut album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet consisted almost entirely of metalcore sound; however, there were several deviations to this genre, most notably in "Streets" which adopts a punk style and "Warmness on the Soul," which is a piano-oriented ballad.[56] On Waking the Fallen, the band displayed the contemporary metalcore style once more, but added more clean vocals as well as more mature and intricate musical elements. In the band's DVD All Excess, producer Andrew Mudrock explained this transition: "When I met the band after Sounding the Seventh Trumpet had come out before they had recorded Waking the Fallen, M. Shadows said to me 'This record is screaming. The record we want to make is going to be half-screaming half-singing. I don't want to scream anymore. And the record after that is going to be all singing.'"
On City of Evil, Avenged Sevenfold's third album, the band chose to abandon the metalcore genre, developing a more hard rock style. Avenged Sevenfold's self-titled album, again, consists of several deviations to less consistent genres and styles from the album's main hard rock and heavy metal songs, most notably in "Dear God", which adopts a country style and "A Little Piece of Heaven", which is circled within the influence of Broadway show tunes, using primarily brass instruments and stringed orchestra to take over most of the role of the lead and rhythm guitar. Nightmare contains further deviations, including a piano ballad called "Fiction" and a brief return to their metalcore roots on "God Hates Us". The band has changed considerably since their first album, in which during that time they have been characterized as a heavy band with a screamed and growled vocal style combined with clean vocals, chugging guitar riffs and breakdowns that one can expect from the metalcore genre.
Influences
The band has also cited bands such as Bad Religion, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Dream Theater, Metallica, NOFX, Alice in Chains, Black Flag, Corrosion of Conformity, The Misfits, Slayer, The Vandals, Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Deftones, and AFI as their artistic influences.
Band name and lyrical content
The band's name is a reference to the Book of Genesis in the Bible – specifically Genesis 4:24, where Cain is sentenced to life in exile for murdering his brother. God marked him so that none would kill him on account of his sin; the man who dared to kill Cain would suffer "vengeance seven times over" (KJV). The abbreviation "A7X" for their band name was the idea of guitarist Zacky Vengeance. The title of Avenged Sevenfold's song "Chapter Four" refers to the fourth chapter of Genesis, in which the story of Cain and Abel takes place. The song's subject also appears to be this story. "Beast and the Harlot", yet another song derived from the Bible, comes from the Book of Revelation only it is written in the first person and refers to the punishment of Babylon the Great, world empire and seat of false religion.
Another biblical reference occurs in the song "The Wicked End". In this song, several times it is said "dust the apple off, savor each bite, and deep inside you know Adam was right." making reference to Eve eating the forbidden fruit. Although the band's title and members' stage names make references to religion, Shadows stated in an interview that they are not a religious band. "Anyone that reads the lyrics and really knew anything about us, they would know we're not promoting either," he said. "That's one thing about this band that I love is that we never really shove any kind of, like, political or religious beliefs on people. We just, the music's there to entertain and maybe thought-provoking on both sides, but we don't try to, like, really shove anything down anyone's throat. There's too many bands that do that nowadays, I think." The band has a few songs that are somewhat political in nature like "Critical Acclaim", "Gunslinger" and "Blinded in Chains". The song "Betrayed" off of their album City of Evil was written about "Dimebag Darrell's death".
The Deathbat
The band sports a logo known as the "Deathbat". It was originally designed by an artistic high school friend of Avenged Sevenfold, Micah Montague, as seen on the band's first DVD, All Excess. The Deathbat has appeared on all of the band's album covers, many of which were done by Cameron Rackam, a close friend of the band. The Deathbat has developed from just being a skull with bat wings, to sometimes appear as a full "man size" skeleton with bat wings, as it can be seen at the cover of albums City of Evil and Nightmare and on singles "Dear God" and "Scream". On Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, there are pictures of two people (in which appear to be Cain and Abel), another angel-like human and a semi-opaque Deathbat below it, several Deathbats appear on the back cover of the album as well. The Deathbat also appears on covers of number of singles such as "Bat Country", "Warmness on the Soul" and "Critical Acclaim".

Disturbed

Disturbed is a heavy metal band from Chicago, Illinois, formed on October 24, 1995 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired David Draiman as their singer. Since the band's formation, they have sold over 11 million albums worldwide, making them one of the largest grossing rock bands in recent years. The band has released five studio albums, four of which have consecutively debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200.
History
Early years as Brawl (1994–1996)
Before vocalist David Draiman joined Disturbed, they were known as Brawl, a band whose lineup consisted of vocalist Erich Awalt, guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, and bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak. Before changing their name to "Brawl" however, Donegan mentioned in the band's DVD, Decade of Disturbed, that the name was originally going to be called "Crawl" but switched it to "Brawl" due to the name already being used by someone else. Awalt left the band shortly after the recording of a demo tape and the other three members went on advertising for a singer. They posted an advertisement in the local music publication in Chicago, Illinois, called the "Illinois Entertainer". Draiman had answered the advertisement after going to twenty other auditions that month. As guitarist Dan Donegan commented on Draiman, "You know, out of all the singers that we had talked to or auditioned, he [Draiman] was the only singer who was ready to go with originals. And that impressed me, just to attempt that".
With regards of Draiman being the new singer for the band, Donegan said, "After a minute or two, he just starts banging out these melodies that were huge...I'm playing my guitar and I'm grinning from ear to ear, trying not to give it away that I like this guy, you know, because I don't want to, you know...[say] 'Yeah, we'll give you a call back. We'll, you know, discuss it.' But I was so psyched. Chill up my spine. I'm like, 'There is something here'." As drummer Mike Wengren commented, "We clicked right off the bat." Draiman then joined the band in 1996 and the band was re-named Disturbed. When asked in an interview why he suggested to name the band Disturbed, Draiman said, "It had been a name I have been contemplating for a band for years. It just seems to symbolize everything we were feeling at the time. The level of conformity that people are forced into was disturbing to us and we were just trying to push the envelope and the name just sorta made sense." In 1996 they released a 6-track demo, under the title Disturbed Demo, of which the genre was considered hardcore punk. It included the songs "Can't Hold Back", "Restrained", "Decisions", "Get Away", "Control" and "Indifferent". The artwork was composed of the band's recently created mascot, The Guy.
The Sickness (1998–2000)
After re-naming the band, Disturbed started to record several demos but did not play in live shows. The band eventually signed with Giant Records. In 2000, the band released its debut album, titled The Sickness, which launched the band into stardom. The album peaked at number twenty-nine on the Billboard 200 and it has sold over four million copies in the United States since its release. Before joining Marilyn Manson's 2001 European tour, bassist Steve Kmak was unable to play with the band due to a shattered ankle, caused by falling out of a fire escape outside Disturbed's rehearsal hall in Chicago. He took the fire escape to exit the building while the elevator was being used to move their equipment downstairs. After a successful operation, doctors highly recommended that Kmak skip the tour to avoid more severe damage to his foot.[citation needed] But he did perform with the band on January 11 and 12, 2001 at Disturbed's show in Chicago. During the European tour, Marty O'Brien replaced Kmak until he was able to tour again.
Believe (2001–2003)
In February 2001, it was announced that the band had covered the song "Midlife Crisis" for a Faith No More tribute album, however the cover was not used.[9] On June 4, 2002, Disturbed released a documentary DVD about the band, titled M.O.L., which showed some of the band's more personal moments in the studio and during tours, as well as featuring several music videos and live performances. On September 17, 2002, Disturbed released their second studio album, titled Believe, which debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200. The music video for the first single from the album, titled "Prayer", was pulled from most television stations, due to the similarities it had with the September 11, 2001 attacks. David Draiman recorded vocals for a song titled "Forsaken", a song written and produced by Jonathan Davis of the band Korn, released on Queen of the Damned.
During the Believe record cycle, Mike Wengren mentioned on Decade of Disturbed that he couldn't remember much of this time, that it was a darker time for him, and that he used alcohol as a Coping skill. This was mainly due to his mother battling cancer, the tension between him and the rest of the band, and his fiancée at the time leaving him. He also stated that he would use his "Mikey Chronicles", which were of him acting comedic, to numb the problems.
In 2003, the band once again participated in the Ozzfest tour and started another one of their own tours, titled Music as a Weapon II. The bands Chevelle, Taproot, and Unloco toured with them. During the tour, Disturbed debuted an unreleased song, titled "Dehumanized". After Disturbed finished the Music as a Weapon II tour, Steve Kmak was fired by the band because of "personality differences". He was replaced by John Moyer, who is now the current bass player. On the night Moyer became the band's new bass player, Disturbed played live at the House of Blues and performed two new songs, "Hell" and "Monster", both of which are B-side tracks on the band's third studio album, Ten Thousand Fists.
Ten Thousand Fists (2004–2006)
Disturbed's third studio album, Ten Thousand Fists, was released on September 20, 2005. The album debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200, while also selling around 238,000 copies in the week following its release. The album was certified platinum, shipping 1,000,000 units, in the United States on January 5, 2006. The band toured with 10 Years and Ill Niño in support of the album. Disturbed headlined Ozzfest 2006 along with Ozzy Osbourne, System of a Down, Lacuna Coil, DragonForce, Avenged Sevenfold, and Hatebreed.
In an interview with Launch Radio Networks, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman stated that twenty songs were recorded for the album, but only fourteen made it to the final track listing. The remaining songs included "Hell", which was included in one of the two "Stricken" singles; "Monster", which was included as an iTunes pre-order bonus for Ten Thousand Fists, then later included on the Ten Thousand Fists Tour Edition; "Two Worlds", which was also included on the Tour Edition of Ten Thousand Fists; and "Sickened", which was included in the "Land of Confusion" single.
Ten Thousand Fists is the first album released by Disturbed to feature guitar solos. The band stated that they felt that guitar solos are a part of music that is absent in a lot of modern music, and they wanted to bring some of that back. Songs like "Stricken", "Overburdened", and "Land of Confusion" all feature guitar solos, as well as many others.
In 2006, a European tour was scheduled but had been moved twice due to Draiman having troubles with severe acid reflux, which affected his voice. Draiman commented, "I had been taking Prevacid for about four years and my body built up a resistance to it, to the point where it wasn't doing anything anymore...I had a night of drinking in London followed by a full day and night of drinking on a day off in Dublin, because what else is there to do in Ireland but drink? That, coupled with a show where I had monitor problems, and I pretty much trashed my voice." Later that year, Draiman underwent surgery for a deviated septum which affected his voice. It was successful, and ever since then, Draiman has limited his drinking on the road.
Draiman became involved in the peer-to-peer file sharing controversy by publicly speaking out against the RIAA's lawsuits against file sharing individuals, despite the fact his record label is a member of the RIAA. Draiman commented, "This is not rocket science. Instead of spending all this money litigating against kids who are the people they're trying to sell things to in the first place, they have to learn how to effectively use the Internet. For the artists, my ass...I didn't ask them to protect me, and I don't want their protection." Draiman also told NYRock: "[I'm] Very positive about the internet, Napster. I think it's a tremendous tool for reaching many more people than we ever could without it. When you release music you want it to be heard by people...Nothing is going to do that better than Napster. I can't tell you how many kids have come up to me and said, 'I downloaded a couple of tunes off Napster and I went out and bought the album.'...I don't really make money off of record sales anyway."
In late 2006, Disturbed headlined another one of their own tours named Music as a Weapon III; the bands Flyleaf, Stone Sour, and Nonpoint toured with them. Disturbed completed the first leg of their Music as a Weapon III tour in late 2006. Soon after, Draiman stated that there was not going to be a second leg to the tour and that instead the band was going off the road to start working on their fourth studio album.
Indestructible (2007–2009)
Disturbed at 2008's Mayhem Festival in Dallas, Texas.
In July 2007, a new track titled "This Moment" was released on the soundtrack to the film Transformers. Disturbed mixed their fourth studio album, titled Indestructible,[33] in Los Angeles, California in late 2007.[34] In an earlier interview, David Draiman said that they were going to record fifteen songs, but only twelve would be on the album.
On March 6, 2008, the band released a thirty second sample of a newly re-recorded version of the song "Perfect Insanity" on their MySpace profile. In March 2008, the song was made available for full download on the band's website, which led to the song receiving some minor radio airplay, and the band playing it live in Kuwait during a special Operation MySpace event.
Indestructible's first single, "Inside the Fire" was made available on digital distribution services for purchase on March 25, 2008. The band also toured in the United States in April and May 2008 with the bands Five Finger Death Punch and Art of Dying. The music video for "Inside the Fire" was released on May 2, 2008 on the band's official website. Disturbed released their previously free song "Perfect Insanity" on iTunes Store as a second single on May 6, 2008, and the album Indestructible become available for pre-order for the release date on June 3, 2008.
On May 13, 2008, Harmonix, the developers of the video game Rock Band announced they had reached a deal with Disturbed and Best Buy to offer two tracks from Indestructible for play in Rock Band to those who pre-ordered the album from Best Buy's website. On June 3, 2008, Harmonix released three tracks from Indestructible; "Indestructible", "Inside the Fire", and "Perfect Insanity". On May 12, 2009, Harmonix released Stricken and Stupify to the Rock Band music store. Disturbed played their first live online concert on May 29, 2008. The concert was sponsored by Pepsi and Deep Rock Drive.[38] They performed in Las Vegas.
Indestructible was released in the United States on June 3, 2008 and in Australia on June 7, 2008 and became the band's third consecutive number-one debut on the Billboard 200. A special "Internet Only" limited edition of the album that includes the B-side track "Run", a making-of DVD with instructional videos, wrap-around poster, VIP laminate, access to special Disturbed events, and a special website with exclusive video, rare audio and more was also released. The band toured in support of the "Mayhem Festival" alongside Slipknot, DragonForce, and Mastodon during summer of 2008. Disturbed also completed a tour of Australia and New Zealand through August and September 2008.
On September 30, 2008, the band released an iTunes-exclusive live album entitled Live & Indestructible, made up of songs from Deep Rock Drive, as well as the music video for "Indestructible". The band started a tour of Europe, starting in London during October 2008 and finishing during November 2008 in Helsinki. In November and December 2008, Disturbed toured in the United States. The song "Inside the Fire" was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award in the "Best Hard Rock Performance" category. In March 2009, Disturbed released a music video for the single "The Night".
The band began their Music as a Weapon IV tour in March 2009 and it ended in late May. The tour, also dubbed a "festival", featured the bands Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, and Chimaira on the main stage. The band released a second cover version of Faith No More's song "Midlife Crisis" on the album Covered, A Revolution in Sound, which also included bands such as Mastodon, The Used, and Avenged Sevenfold. This cover of "Midlife Crisis" was originally recorded for Indestructible, but the band decided not to include it on the album.
Asylum (2010–present)
In an earlier interview, David Draiman briefly talked about the band's fifth studio album, stating that the album will be as dark as their previous album, Indestructible, if not darker. Draiman also stated that the album is "still identifiably Disturbed, but showing more maturation." Song-writing for the fifth studio album began in late 2009. In an earlier interview with Mike Wengren and John Moyer, it was stated that, judging by Draiman's feelings on the last few years of his life, that Disturbed's new album will be aggressive, angry, and "hard-hitting", but will be similar musically to their album Believe. Wengren also said that the new album may be released in the spring or summer of 2010. Additionally, Draiman has confirmed that a DVD is in the works. A countdown clock appeared on the band's website, which ended on January 12, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. EST, and a trailer for the upcoming DVD, titled Decade of Disturbed, was revealed.
In a July 2009 interview with FaceCulture, Draiman stated that the upcoming DVD will be "chronicling the past decade of Disturbed's existence. It's meant to show our growth over the course of the decade." He also talked more about the upcoming fifth album: "A couple of [song riffs] that Danny has come up with are really amazing. But they're just little pieces...it's not even in two-three part progression [yet]."
On March 23, 2010, the band released a reissue of their debut album, The Sickness, with the B-side tracks "God of the Mind" and "A Welcome Burden", updated artwork, as well as remastering and remixing the track list. It was also available for the first time in vinyl format. On February 26, 2010, Harmonix announced a second Disturbed pack for download on the Rock Band music store, containing the 2010 remastered versions of "Voices", "The Game", and "Meaning of Life".
On February 8, 2010, it was announced that the band had entered the studio in Chicago, Illinois to begin recording their fifth album, tentatively set for a summer 2010 release. Guitarist Dan Donegan stated that the band had written around 15 to 18 songs. It was later confirmed that the title of the album is Asylum.
Disturbed recently released a cover of heavy metal band Judas Priest's song "Living After Midnight" for the Metal Hammer Presents... Tribute to British Steel album.
On April 20, 2010, roughly two months after they entered the studio, Disturbed announced that they had finished recording the album, and were ready to begin mixing the album in Los Angeles, California. As they did with their last album Indestructible, Disturbed stated that they self-produced Asylum. The band has announced that Asylum will be released on August 31, 2010. On July 9, 2010, the track listing was revealed on the band's official website. Asylum debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200.
Disturbed is currently headlining the first annual "Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar" tour with Avenged Sevenfold, as well as Stone Sour, Hellyeah and Halestorm, among others.
On October 8, 2010, it was reported that David Draiman was diagnosed with a "serious throat condition", and the band's U.S. tour has been canceled, as Draiman's healing process could take up to four weeks.
Disturbed have announced that they will be commencing the Music as a Weapon V tour in 2011, co-headlining with Korn and guests Sevendust and In This Moment.
Mascot
Disturbed's mascot, named "The Guy", was originally just a drawing of a face with a large grin, as seen on the back of the album The Sickness. The original drawing of The Guy was then edited using a digital distorting program. After the original image had been distorted three times The Guy became the official mascot for the band, fully animated by Spawn creator Todd McFarlane in the album artwork and music video for Disturbed's "Land of Confusion" cover, and has also appeared on the artwork of three of Disturbed's studio albums: Ten Thousand Fists, Indestructible and Asylum.
Style and lyrical themes
Classified as a rock, or nu metal band, Disturbed is also regarded by some critics as alternative rock alternative metal, heavy metal. However, when asked about die-hard heavy metal fans not finding Disturbed heavy enough, frontman David Draiman stated:
"We probably have too much melody going on or we're not quite as turbulent or caustic. While I really love that type of music, it's not what we try to do. If we have to place things in context, we're more hard rock than heavy metal these days."
"The secret is that we were never really part of any particular trend, although we definitely benefited from the popularity of what was called nu-metal at the time," Draiman says. "We never had the stereotypical attributes that those bands had. We don’t rap; there’s no turntable involved; no fusion in that respect. We play, in my opinion, classic metal. Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Pantera: these are the bands that made us want to play.
Allmusic reviewer Bradley Torreano described the album Believe as "taking the sort of jump that their heroes in Soundgarden and Pantera made after their respective breakthrough records". He also described the title track as moving "from a brutal chug to a sweeping chorus that suddenly stops in its tracks and turns into a winding riff that recalls the work of vintage James Hetfield". Believe is also considered by several critics to be a step away from the nu metal sound featured on The Sickness, moving towards a more hard rock/heavy metal sound that was continued in their following albums.
According to frontman David Draiman on the band's home documentary M.O.L., the lyrics that he writes are inspired by life experience, perception, and actual experiences of his own, and he stated that he likes to present his ideas with cryptic lyrics. These lyrical themes range from the ideology of Heaven and Hell, domestic abuse, suicide, insanity, relationships, politics, war, religion, genocide, pollution, miscarriages, drugs and alcohol and Horror lyrical themes, such as vampires, werewolves, zombies, angels, and demons
Guitarist Dan Donegan typically uses tunings such as drop C# and drop C, which are lower tunings than regular E standard. These lower tunings allow for a darker, more mysterious feel in Donegan's riffs. Donegan also uses subtle electronic effects to add to the fullness of the music, which the rest of the band refers to as "The Dan Donegan Orchestra."

Believe by Disturbed
Believe, when you lie
You will never need to recognize yourself
To deceive
To remove all chance of doubt and be received
With your lie
The deception is complete when you concede
And decide
To reject your lives, sacrificed to me
Penance can't absolve your sin, into me
Penance can't absolve your sin
All your belief cannot absolve your sin [x2]
Believe, when you lie
You will never need to recognize the source
Of deceit
To renew your faith in God
You must believe, in your lie
The redemption is complete when you conceive
And decline
To release your lives
Sacrificed to me
Penance can't absolve your sin, into me
Penance can't absolve your sin
All your belief cannot absolve your sin [x2]
Reap your life, like you want to recognize, all you've come to [x2]
Reap your life
Veiled in shadow
Recognize
Faces of the crucified
I can hear their screams tonight
Ever haunting me
Burn your lie into me
Penance can't absolve your sin, into me
Penance can't absolve your sin
All your belief cannot absolve your sin [x4]

Inside The Fire by Disturbed
Devon
Won't go to heaven
She's just another lost soul,
About to be mine again
Leave her
we will receive her
It is beyond your control
will you ever meet again
Devon
Around 11
Who was rendered unwhole
As a little child,
she was taken
and then forsaken
you will remember it all
Let it blow your mind again
Devon lies beyond this portal
take the word of one immortal
Give your soul to me
For eternity
release your life
to begin another time with her
End your grief with me
there's another way
release your life
take your place inside the fire with love
Sever
Now and forever
you're just another lost soul about to be mine again
see her, you'll never free her
you must surrender it all
Would you like to meet again
Fire
All you desire
As she begins to turn cold and run out of time
you will shiver
till you deliver
you will remember it all
Let it blow your mind again
Devon lies beyond this portal
take the word of one immortal
Give your soul to me
For eternity
release your life
to begin another time with her
End your grief with me
there's another way
release your life
take your place inside the fire with love
Give your soul to me
For eternity
release your life
to begin another time with her
End your grief with me

Cinta Sederhana by Tipe-X
kuingin menjadi bintang yang bersinar terang
slalu menerangi hatimu yang sepi
kuingin menjadi mimpi yang temani tidurmu
memberikan kedamaian disetiap waktu
kuingin seperti hujan yang slalu membasahi
hatimu yang gelisah dengan kesejukan
kuingin seperti pelangi yang penuh warna-warni
mewarnai hidupmu dengan laguku
oh indahnya bila semua tercipta
oh indahnya begitu sempurna
meski mungkin sederhana kuharap menjadi indah
walau rasa yang ku beri tak seharum melati
sadarkan semua langkahku bilaku merasa angkuh
coba terbang lebih tinggi terbang meninggalkanmu
kuingin menjadi bintang yang bersinar terang
slalu menerangi hatimu yang sepi
kuingin menjadi mimpi yang temani tidurmu
memberikan kedamaian disetiap waktu
kuingin seperti hujan yang slalu membasahi
hatimu yang gelisah dengan kesejukan
kuingin seperti pelangi yang penuh warna-warni
mewarnai hidupmu dengan laguku
meski mungkin sederhana kuharap menjadi indah
walau rasa yang ku beri tak seharum melati
bila kumulai menjauh pegang erat sayapku
jangan pernah lepaskan jangan pernah biarkan
meski mungkin sederhana kuharap menjadi indah
walau rasa yang ku beri tak seharum melati
sadarkan semua langkahku bilaku merasa angkuh
coba terbang lebih tinggi terbang meninggalkanmu

Welcome To The Family by A7X
Hey kid, do I have your attention?
I know the way you've been living
Life's so reckless, tragedy endless
Welcome to the family
Hey, there's something missing
Only time will alter your vision
Never in question, lethal injection
Welcome to the family
Not long ago you'd find the answers
Were so crystal clear
Within a day you find yourself
Living in constant fear
Can you look at yourself now?
Can you look at yourself?
You can't win this fight
In a way it seems
There's no one to call
When our thoughts are so numb
And our feelings unsure
We all have emptiness inside
We all have answers to find
But you can't win this fight
Hey, I have to question
What's with the violent aggression?
Details blurry, lost him too early
Welcome to the family
Hey, why won't you listen?
Can't help the people you're missing
It's been done, a casualty rerun
Welcome to the family
I try and help you with the things
That can't be justified
I need to warn you
That there is no way to rationalize
So have you figured it out now?
So have you figured it out?
You can't win this fight
In a way it seems
There's no one to call
When our thoughts are so numb
And our feelings unsure
We all have emptiness inside
We all have answers to find
But you can't win this fight
We're here for you and all mankind
I've lost my mind
Psychotic, I'm in dementia
I won't be fine
I see your escape has been dethroned
Cast out in a world you'll never know
Stand there, place your weapons by your side
It's our war, in the end we'll surely lose
But that's all right
So have you figured it out now?
So have you figured it out?
And in a way it seems
There's no one to call
When our thoughts are so numb
And our feelings unsure
We all have emptiness inside
We all have answers to find
But you can't win this fight
Deep inside where nothing's fine
I've lost my mind
You're not invited so step aside
I've lost my
Deep inside where nothing's fine
I've lost my mind
You're not invited so step aside
I lost my

Nightmare ........
(Now your nightmare comes to life)
Dragged ya down below
Down to the devil's show
To be his guest forever
Peace of mind is less than never
Hate to twist your mind
But God ain't on your side
An old acquaintance severed
Burn the world, your last endeavor
Flesh is burning
You can smell it in the air
'Cause men like you have
Such an easy soul to steal
(Steal)
So stand in line
While they ink numbers in your head
You're now a slave
Until the end of time here
Nothing stops the madness turning
Haunting, yearning, pull the trigger
You should have known
The price of evil
And it hurts to know
That you belong here, yeah
It's your fucking nightmare
(While your nightmare comes to life)
Can't wake up and sweat
'Cause it ain't over yet
Still dancin' with your demons
Victim of your own creation
Beyond the will to fight
Where all that's wrong is right
Where hate don't need a reason
Loathing, self-assassination
You've been lied to
Just to rape you of your sight
And now they have the nerve
To tell you how to feel
(Feel)
So sedated
As they medicate your brain
And while you slowly go insane
They tell ya
Given with the best intentions help you
With your complications
You should have known the price of evil
And it hurts to know that you belong here, yeah
No one to call everybody to fear
Your tragic fate is looking so clear, yeah
It's your fucking nightmare
Ha, ha, ha, ha
Fight (Fight)
Not to fail (Fail)
Not to fall (Fall)
Or you'll end up like the others
Die (Die)
Die again (Die)
Drenched in sin (Sin)
With no respect for another
Down (Down)
Feel the fire (Fire)
Feel the hate (Hate)
Your pain is what we desire
Lost (Lost)
Hit the wall (Hit)
Watch you crawl (Crawl)
Such a replaceable liar
And I know you hear their voices
(Calling from above)
And I know they may seem real
(These signals of love)
But our life's made up of choices
(Some without appeal)
They took for granted your soul
And it's ours now to steal
As your nightmare comes to life
You should have known
The price of evil
And it hurts to know
That you belong here, yeah
No one to call
Everybody to fear
Your tragic fate is looking so clear, yeah
It's your fucking nightmare

So Far Away by A7X
Never feared for anything
Never shamed but never free
A life that healed a broken heart with all that it could
Lived a life so endlessly
Saw beyond what others see
I tried to heal your broken heart with all that I could
Will you stay ?
Will you stay away forever ?
How do I live without the ones I love ?
Time still turns the pages of the book its burned
Place and time always on my mind
I have so much to say but you’re so far away
Plans of what our futures hold
Foolish lies of growing old
It seems we’re so invincible
The truth is so cold
A final song, a last request
A perfect chapter laid to rest
Now and then I try to find a place in my mind
Where you can stay
You can stay awake forever
How do I live without the ones I love ?
Time still turns the pages of the book its burned
Place and time always on my mind
I have so much to say but you’re so far away
Sleep tight, I’m not afraid
The ones that we love are here with me
Lay away a place for me
Cause as soon as I’m done I’ll be on my way
To live eternally
How do I live without the ones I love ?
Time still turns the pages of the book its burned
Place and time always on my mind
And the light you left remains but it’s so hard to stay
When I have so much to say and you’re so far away
I love you
You were ready
The pain is strong enough despite
But I’ll see you
When He lets me
Your pain is gone, your hands are tied
So far away
And I need you to know
So far away
And I need you to
Need you to know

House full of roses, a letter on the stairs
A table of messages for anyone who cares
Collage of broken worlds and stories full of tears
Remembering your life cause we wish that you were here
Nothing is harder than to wake up all alone
Realize that it’s not okay, it’s the end of all you know
Time keeps passing by, but it seems I’m frozen still
Scars are left behind, but some too deep to feel
And some say that this can’t be real
And I’ve lost my power to feel tonight
We’re all just victims of a crime
When all is gone and can’t be regained
We can’t seem to shelter the pain inside
We’re all just victims of a crime
Somedays you’ll find me in a place I like to go
Ask questions to myself about the things I’ll never know
What’s left to find cause I need a little more
I need a little time, can we even up the score?
And some say that this can’t be real
And I’ve lost my power to feel tonight
We’re all just victims of a crime
When all is gone and can’t be regained
We can’t seem to shelter the pain inside
We’re all just victims of a crime, yeah
Well nothing lasts forever, for all good things it’s true
I’d rather trade it all while somehow saving you
It must have been the season that threw us out of line
Once I stood so tall, now I’m searching for a sign
So don’t need your salvation with promises of time
And all the speculation, save it for another time
Cause we all need a reason, a reason just to stay
While some just can’t be bothered to stick around another day
Well some say that this can’t be real
And I’ve lost my power to feel tonight
We’re all just victims of a crime
When all is gone and can’t be regained
We can’t seem to shelter the pain inside
We’ve all been victims of a crime
Victims of a crime
Living with this crime
I’m missing you
I’m missing you
I’m missing you
I’m missing you

Doubt the choices that we’ve made
I know that we can’t hide our shame
It’s only in disguise

Fool of thoughts as through we’re free
Close our eyes so we can see
The death of all we need to be
If only in my eyes
I don’t mind (Make the writing on the wall)
My life grinds (Tortured voices as we crawl)
Find me on my better days
To lose it once again
In a way
So try to wonder why you can
And take the time to understand
As long as I can touch your face
You know I’ll never leave this place
If only in my mind
I don’t mind (Make the writing on the wall)
My all of crimes (Tortured voices as we crawl)
Find me on my better days
To lose it once again
But I seem to find out better ways
To consciously pretend
Silence all I want to say
And it seems to run away
I’ll run away
With you tonight
launder all my sins away
And just like that mistakes are made
You know
Tonight the world dies
I don’t mind
(Make the writing on the wall)
My all crimes
(Tortured voices as we crawl)
Find me on my better days
To lose it once again
But I seem to find out better ways
To consciously pretend

Save Me by A7X
LET’S GO!
(We all know, we all know!)
Sorry, did I wake your dreams?
Some questions run to me
We only, only wake up when we sleep
Met by the lunar light, trouble’s all we find
Lost our way tonight
Is it something we said?
Is it something we said to them?
Is it something we said?!
(Save me)
Entrapped into my own world
(Save me)
Where the endings are the same as every other
We’re only here to die
(Save me)
I’m losing my only dream
(Save me)
I can use some God in life, some place to go
If you hear me, let me know
(We all know, we all know!)
Ever since the day you let my face being said unknown
How many years to walk this path alone
So much to see tonight, so why’d you close your eyes?
Why can’t I shut mine?
Is it something we did?
Is it something we did to them?
Is it something we did?!
(Save me)
Entrapped into my own world
(Save me)
Where the endings are the same as every other
We’re only here to die
(Save me)
I’m losing my only dream
(Save me)
I can use some God in life, some place to go
If you hear me, let me know
If you hear me, let me know
Help me find my way
So, help me find my way
No pulse inside of me, stone cold lips and have seen
All lies into a degree, losing you I wanna be
Find out, what now?
He may be out of his mind
But someday you will find, that sanity has left us all blind
And dragged us all behind, a moment seen with those eyes
Crystal blue skies, they say that all beauty must die
I say it just moves on
If you only open your mind, then someday you will find
That sanity left us behind, and walk right through the dark
I can see the picture’s clear, it’s yesterday, pictures of my own
I can hear the voices begging you to stay, but know you’re not alone.
(Save me)
Entrapped into my own world
(Save me)
Where the endings are the same as every other
We’re only here to die
(Save me)
I’m losing my only dream
(Save me)
I can use some God in life, some place to go
If you hear me, let me know
If you hear me, let me know
Tonight we all die young. [6x]
Tonight we all die
Tonight we all die young!

Natural Born Killer by A7X
One snap for the dieing
One click to end the day
Another story with a mangled scene
It couldn't happen any other way
You wanna talk about it?
I'm begging you to walk in my shoes any time
Watch the clock 'til you unwind
You wanna cry about it?
It's making me just sentimental, lost my mind
The way I see, you must be blind
So this is the world you left behind
This is the guilt that consumes you
So die alone
This is the one thing that I won't do
So say your prayers
'Cause I ain't leaving here without you
Can't shower me with shame
Another killer from a broken home
Until you come on me with many things
You wanna know about it?
Well I'mma be fucking with you every time
Story broken, you're behind
Yeah when you ask about it?
You can rest assured I'll give you my best side
Seem we all have friends to find
So this is the hate I've been born to
Full of the tales of the untrue
So die alone
This is the one thing that I won't do
So say your prayers
'Cause I ain't leaving here without you
And I'm waiting
Waiting for the days to slowly pass me by
(and all the promises I'll find)
Don't hesitated, you've pulled the trigger now your story's left behind
(I know you want to see me cry)
Lock my soul you hope to burn
So die alone
This is the one thing that I won't do
So say your prayers
'Cause I ain't leaving here without you
To die unknown
Would crush the fuch-mens we all see through
To care the glare
Expose the ugliness we hold true

Lost It All by A7X
Run away
I'm living with a hole inside
A piece of me I am yet to find
The edge of reason, Lies uneven
Turn me off, feel the blood so cold
It's like a product that was bought in salt
Asking me for the impossible
I ain't waiting for a miracle
I ain't waiting for the world to change
Under my skin lives the reason
Under my armor I've lost it all
No saviour made of born design
Fool me before I tell ya not this time
Rape my body, Lost my vision, Lost my mind
I had to let it go
Another day living irrational
Another day inside this dying soul
I ain't waiting for a miracle
I ain't waiting for the world to change
Under my skin lives the reason
Under my armor I've lost it all
There's something in your eyes
A part of me that I recognise
I want to let you know
We'd be there if we could and it's alright
You taught me how to feel
It's no wonder I'd do anything
Tell me why'd you have to go
With the ones that come last are the best I know
At time, It seems that we've lost it all
Burn it all
Burn it to the fucking ground
Believe the words that I don't want me around
Life with vision, need decision
World collision and heads will roll
With nothing left but the pain to show
Mental imagery on the floor
I ain't waiting for a miracle
I ain't waiting for the world to change
Under my skin lives the reason
Under my armor I've lost it all

No one to fake.
You'll find out soon
No doubt its best if we just blow up.

You took me years
Create me control you.
Why let myself around with you aside?

Fiction by A7X
Now I think I understand
How this world can overcome a man
Like a friend we saw it through
In the end I gave my life for you
Gave you all I had to give
Found a place for me to rest my head
While I may be hard to find
Heard there's peace just on the other side
Or that I would
Let it burn
Under my skin
Let it burn
Left this life to set me free
Took a piece of you inside of me
All this hurt can finally fade
Promise me you'll never feel afraid
Not that I could
Or that I would
Let it burn
Under my skin
Let it burn
I hope it's worth it, here on the highway, yeah
I know you'll find your own way when I'm not with you
So tell everybody, the ones who walk beside me, yeah
I hope you'll find your own way when I'm not with you tonight
I hope it's worth it, what's left behind me, yeah
I know you'll find your own way when I'm not with you
So tell everybody, the ones who walk beside me, yeah
I know you'll find your own way when I'm not with you tonight

Danger Line by A7X
My sixteen, locked and loaded
All fear has been avoided
You say the words and my weapon is drawn
This one could be my last time
Some people call it war crime
I may be staring down a lethal sight
(To die)
Nothing shocks you like a bullet hole
Leaving my fear on the danger line
Suffering a man should never know
Leaving my faith on the danger line
My daughter loves her daddy
Too many talk down on things they don't know
With colors never faded
Reckless and unabated
They may take me but never take us all
(I'll crawl)
Nothing shocks you like a bullet hole
Leaving my fear on the danger line
Suffering a man should never know
Leaving my faith on the danger line
I know what you're thinking
I've been there before
So think of the times, the time we spent laughing away
So think of the times at home
(Life without a care)
Now I find myself in my own blood
(Never thought I'd lay in my own blood)
The damage done is far beyond repair
I never put my faith in up above
(Never had much faith in up above)
But now, I'm hoping someone's there
I never meant to leave this world alone
I never meant to hurt the ones who cared
And all this time I thought we'd just grow old
You know, no one said it's fair
Tell my baby girl that "It's alright"
I've sung my last song today
Remind the lord to leave his light on for me
I'm free

Buried Alive by A7X
Take the time just to listen
When the voices screaming are much too loud
Take a look in the distance
Try and see it all
Chances are that you might find
That we share a common discomfort now
I feel I'm walking a fine line
Tell me only if it's real
Still I'm on my way
(On and on it goes)
Vacant hope to take
I can't live in here for another day
Darkness has kept the light concealed
Grim as ever
Hold on to faith as I dig another grave
Meanwhile the mice endure the wheel
Real as ever
And it seems I've been buried alive
I walk the fields through the fire
Taking steps until I found solid ground
Followed dreams, reaching higher
Couldn't survive the fall
Much has changed since the last time
And I feel a little less certain now
You know I jumped at the first sign
Tell me only if it's real
Memories seem to fade
(On and on it goes)
Wash my view away
Hey!
I can't live in here for another day
Darkness has kept the light concealed
Grim as ever
Hold on to faith as I dig another grave
Meanwhile the mice endure the wheel
Real as ever
And I'm chained like a slave
Trapped in the dark
Slammed all the locks
Death calls my name
And it seems I've been buried alive
Take you down now
Burn it all out
Throw you all around
Get your fuckin' HANDS OFF ME!
What's it feel like?
Took the wrong route
Watch it fall apart
Now you're knockin' AT THE WRONG GATE!
For you to pay the toll
A price for you alone
The only deal you'll find
I'll gladly take your soul
While it seems sick
Sober up quick
Psycho lunatic crushing you with
HANDS OF FATE!
Shame to find out
When it's too late
But you're all the same
Trapped inside INFERNO AWAITS!
Evil thoughts can hide
I'll help release the mind
I'll peel away the skin
Release the dark within
This is now your life
Strike you from the light
This is now your life
Die, buried alive [x3]

Until The Day I Die by Story of the Year
until the day I die
I'll spill my heart for you
for you
until the day I die
I'll spill my heart for you
Race the clock with you
but if you die right now
You know that I'd die to
I'd die too
you remind me of the times
when I knew who I was (I was)
but still the second hand will catch us
like it always does
we'll make the same mistakes
I'll take the fall for you
I hope you need this now
cuz I know I still do
until the day I die (until the day I die)
I'll spill my heart for you
until the day I die (until the day I die)
I'll spill my heart for you
should I bite my tongue?
until blood soaks my shirt
we'll never fall apart
tell me why this hurts so much
my hands are at your throat
and I think I hate you
but still we'll say "remember when"
just like we always do
just like we always do
until the day I die (until the day I die)
I'll spill my heart for you
until the day I die (until the day I die)
I'll spill my heart for you
yeah I'd spill my heart
yeah I'd spill my heart for you
my hands are at your throat
and I think I hate you
we made the same mistakes
mistakes like friends do
my hands are at your throat
and I think I hate you
we made the same mistakes
made the same mistakes
until the day I die
I'll spill my heart for you
for you
until the day I die (until the day I die)
I'll spill my heart for you
for you
until the day I die (until the day I die)
I'll spill my heart for you
until the day I die (until the day I die)
until the day I die

Won't Go Home Without You by Maroon 5
I asked her to stay
But she wouldn't listen
She left before I had the chance to say (oh)
Words that would mend it
Things that were broken
Now it's far too late she's gone away
Thinking why does this happen to me?
Why does every moment have to be so hard?
Hard to believe it
It's not over tonight
Just give me one chance to make you right
I may not make it through the night
I won't go home without you (oh)
Taste of her breath I'll never get over
The noises that you make kept me awake
Weight of the things that remain unspoken
Took so much crushed us everyday
Every night she cry herself to sleep
Thinking why does this happen to me
Why does every moment have to be so hard?
Hard to believe it
It's not over tonight
Just give me one chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won't go home without you
It's not over tonight
Just give me one chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won't go home without you
Done all the things I felt but never really showed
Perhaps the worst is that I ever let you go
I should not have ever let you go oh whoa whoa
It's not over tonight
Just give me one chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won't go home without you
It's not over tonight
Just give me one chance to make it right
I may not make it through the night
I won't go home without you
I won't go home without you
I won't go home without you
I won't go home without you

Dear God by A7X
A lonely road, crossed another cold state line
Miles away from those I love purpose hard to find
While I recall all the words you spoke to me
Can't help but wish that I was there
Back where I'd love to be, oh yeah
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
But I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again
There's nothing here for me on this barren road
There's no one here while the city sleeps
and all the shops are closed
Can't help but think of the times I've had with you
Pictures and some memories will have to help me through, oh yeah
Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again
Some search, never finding a way
Before long, they waste away
I found you, something told me to stay
I gave in, to selfish ways
And how I miss someone to hold
when hope begins to fade...
A lonely road, crossed another cold state line
Miles away from those I love purpose hard to find
Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away
We all need the person who can be true to you
I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again
